Originally located off of Frontier Drive in Independence, Kentucky, Independence Insurance was founded in 1985 by James C. Barnes, an Independent Insurance Agent.  In 1987, the office was relocated to  774 Eubanks Road in Crescent Springs, Kentucky. It remained at this location until January, 2016.
